发布有一段时间了，只是没有机会测试，
跟5.9相比没有太大的变动，估计是消除BUG为主。。。

Release Notes 9/2013
Significant Enhancements
1. Improved the OP module. The default value for “C-Crack” was changed from “1.0e-7” to 0.01.
Redesigned and enhanced the “Result Viewer” function.
2. CADTranslator23.2 was released to support Spatial version 23 and some bugs in
CADTranslator were fixed.
Please note that the version number is changed to correspond with the Spatial version.
New Capabilities, Features and Functions in the BSE Module
1. Exported the drawing direction to the file “press_direction.iges” in MSTEP.
2. Fixed a contour range error in the MSTEP report, where there was the same material but
different thickness of the welded blanks.
3. Fixed a bug in the MSTEP report where “Combine Report” did not work for the welded blank
part.
4. Added a new feature for the 3D trim line. Two trim lines are created for the double attached
part with one in the current position and the other in the original position before tipping.
5. Fixed a bug that caused the nesting to fail with some imported lines on Windows x64.
6. Fixed a bug in MSTEP where the trim line was wrong with the vertical wall.
7. Enhanced MSTEP to support the binder with a small size.
8. Fixed a bug in Tipping that the newly-added part could not be tipped for Reset Tipping.
Newly Enhanced Capabilities, Features and Functions Supporting AutoSetup in the
Formability Module
1. Fixed a bug in defining multi-drawbeads.
2. Fixed a bug in Drawbead that the selected center line was wrong for the symmetry bead.
3. Adopted a more accurate approach to evaluate material formability, called “Formability Index”.
4. Fixed a bug that Blank Development failed to create the LS-DYNA input file for some cases.
5. Fixed a bug in defining tool contact of AutoSetup.
6. Added an option “Check Shell in Trimming” in default config, allowing the user to decide
whether to export the *CONTROL_CHECK_SHELL card in the input file for trimming.
7. Allowed to combine the adjacent beads into one variable line bead when opening the
database file created by DYNAFORM version before DF5.9.
8. Added an option “Automatically Position Tools” in default config, allowing the user to decide
whether to position tools automatically in AutoSetup.
9. Allowed to export the history variables.
10. Added an option “Spring Stroke of Initial Force” in default config, allowing the user to set the

spring stroke for the initial force.
Enhanced function for Blank Generator
1. Fixed a bug in Disk Mesh which created bad elements with the selected circular line.
2. Fixed a bug in Disk Mesh which failed to define an arc by selecting an imported curve.
3. Fixed a bug in Blank Generator which failed to define the Outline by selecting a curve.
4. Fixed a bug in Blank Generator which failed to generate the solid mesh from surface.
5. Added a prompt message where Blank Mesh and Part Mesh would ask the user to store the
mesh element by creating the parts first when no part has been defined in blank.
Enhanced function for INCSolver
1. Fixed a bug that caused the program to crash when trimming or lancing in the 64-bit version.
Enhanced and Additional Features for Job Submitter
1. Fixed a bug in Job Submitter for reading the result of simple restart file with eta/POST.
2. Added a warning message for LS-DYNA in the summary dialog box in Job Submitter.
3. Allowed the user to specify the text editor to view the message.
Enhanced and Improved Pre-Processing Capabilities
1. Fixed a bug in Tool Mesh which created the bad mesh in the 64-bit version.
2. Fixed a bug in importing some IGES files.
3. Fixed a bug in Boundary Line which failed to create an outer line for some cases.
4. Improved the filtering algorithm when importing IGES curves.
5. Fixed a bug in Curve Editor when selecting “Chain Line” with curves and arcs.
6. Fixed a bug in Part Mesh that caused the program to crash under the shading model with
remote desktop connection.
7. Added the ability to name a directory with spaces.
8. Fixed a bug that the Geometry Bead generated some bad elements.
Enhanced function for Utility Batch
1. Fixed a bug which caused the program to crash for some models in the 64-bit version.
2. Fixed a bug which the trimmed elements were not deleted.
Newly Implemented Capabilities, Features and Function of Post-processing (eta/Post)
1. Added the “Edge Stretch” function.
2. Improved the “Max. Pressure Over Time” function.
3. Added an option “Export Contour with Position”, supporting to export the nodal contour result
with nodal coordinates.

4. Fixed the aspect ratio problem in BSE report.
5. Fixed the mislabeling problem for the Springback Distance value when the "Normal Distance"
option is on.
6. Disabled the "Normal Distance" option in Springback Distance dialog when the blank is solid

7. Fixed a bug that POST failed to generate the formability report file (*.pdf) due to the file
permission.
Newly Enhanced Capabilities for LicenseManager
1. When installing the client license for DYNAFORM, the license of NXTranslator is also
installed.
2. Added the ability to allow the user to define multiple valid IP ranges when requesting a new
license.
3. Added the ability to automatically check the DYNAFORM and SHERPA licenses’ validity when
importing the license file.
LS-DYNA971R6.1.0 is bundled and supported in this release.

1. Added the ability to support Microsoft PowerPoint 2007, 2010 and 2013
