How to simulate a pulse on an Al plate

I am trying to add the pulse on the center of a plate, such that the pulse will be propagated through the plate like a wave. I have created the model, but it comes to be that the plate vibrate up and down in the direction of the force applied, rather than propagating a wave. Does anyone know what is the problem? I really appreciate it if anyone could help me!!!
